In Ankara, Turkey, President Victor Yushchenko put flowers near the tomb of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the leader of Turkish War of Independence and the founder and first President of the Republic of Turkey.
Other participants of the ceremony were NSDC Secretary Raisa Bohatyryova, Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko, Energy Minister Yuriy Prodan and deputy Chief of Staff of Presidential Secretariat Andrii Goncharuk.
After that President Yushchenko left his signature in a Book of Honorable guests of the Anıtkabir.
