In Istanbul President Victor Yushchenko met with representatives of Turkish business: ‘Cukurova Holding’ Board of Directors Chairman Mehmet Emin Karamehmet, ‘Finansbank’ Chairman Hüsnü Özyeğin and ‘Doğuş Holding’ Chairman Ferit Şahenk.
At the meeting sides discussed impact of world financial crisis on Ukraine.
Speaking About that President Yushchenko stressed that world financial crisis did not damage Ukraine’s banking system much, having more negative effect on exports and currency turnover.
He also assured those present that Ukraine would be able to manage these negative tendencies successfully.
