President Victor Yushchenko met today with the Chief of National Security Bureau of Poland Władysław Stasiak.
At the meeting sides discussed bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Poland in such fields as development of political dialogue, preparation to holding EURO 2012 Championship, energy security, etc.
President expressed hope that closer cooperation between heads of security councils of the two countries would favor all-out cooperation between Ukraine and Poland.
Speaking of trans-boarder cooperation between the states President Yushchenko pointed to importance of the soonest ratification of the Agreement on local boarder movement between Ukraine and Poland.
Separately the two officials exchanged views on Russian-Georgian conflict and its consequences for regional security and stability.
