President Victor Yushchenko met today with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia Antonio Milososki.
At the meeting sides have discussed bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Macedonia in such fields as politics, trade, economy, military, etc.
Much of their attention President Yushchenko and Foreign Minister Milososki dedicated to discussing preparation to a meeting of a joint commission on trade-economic cooperation and a joint committee on free trade agreement implementation.
Beside that the sides discussed joint cultural and humanitarian projects such as arrangement in 2009 Ukrainian Culture Days in Macedonia and visa versa; opening of a monument to Taras Shevchenko in Skopje; Ukrainian language teaching in Skopje Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, etc.
President Yushchenko also affirmed to Minister Milososki his intention to visit Macedonia soon.
