Within the framework of his visit to Ternopil region President Victor Yushchenko came to Koropets village, damaged by the storms.
In the village President came to the most damaged dwellings, looked at the kindergarten, took part in a cornerstone ceremony at the place, where new homes for those who lost theirs in the disaster would be built.
Speaking to the villagers President Yushchenko said that they should support each other in the tragedy and promised that the authorities would do everything to help them to return to normal life.
According to him already today military units will come to the village to help in restoration works and the new houses for families, who lost their old homes will be built in three months.
