President visits damaged villages of Ivano-Frankivsk region

President Victor Yushchenko went with a working visit to Ivano-Frankivsk region. There he visited the villages damaged by disaster of July 23-27.

In Tlumach district President visited Petryliv and Zolota Lypa villages, in Snyatyn district – the village of Prutivka.

Also Victor Yushchenko came to Verkhovyna district, which had been damaged the most in the region.
Speaking to inhabitants of the damaged villages President repeated: “Whole Ukraine and all the Ukrainians are by your side in this tragedy”.

In his trip President Yushchenko was accompanied by Defense Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov, Minister for Emergencies Volodymyr Shandra and Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Administration Head Mykola Paliychuk.
