The Ukrainian flag hoisting ceremony will take place in Beijing Thursday. The traditional event in the Olympic village will be held in the presence of Ukrainian athletes, coaches, officials and reporters, and will symbolize this country's preparedness for participation in the Olympic Games, the press service of the National Olympic Committee reported.
Upon completion of the ceremony, the Ukrainians will demonstrate their art talents. Ukrainian pop-stars will give a concert on the stage of the entertainment zone of the Olympic village.
