President Victor Yushchenko met with delegates from the Group of the European People's Party and European Democrats in the European Parliament headed by the Group’s Chairmen Joseph Daul.
Opening the meeting President thanked EPP-ED for initiating the regional conference Orthodox dialogue. “It is a sensitive question for us. It is our aim to renew dialogue between Orthodox Church branches in Ukraine”, - he said.
Victor Yushchenko also expressed gratitude to the Group for its support of European aspirations of Ukraine.
Besides, participants of the meeting discussed possibility of adoption of the resolution on Holodomor 1932-1933 by the European Parliament.
