President honors Volodymyr the Great

Within the framework of celebration of 1020th anniversary of Kyivan Rus’ Christianization, President Victor Yushchenko together with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, state officials and representatives of Orthodox Churches around the world put flowers near the monument to Volodymyr the Great who converted Kyivan Rus’ to Christianity in 988.
