President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Borys Paton and Head of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investments and Innovations Viktor Ivchenko have signed a cooperation agreement, the academy's presidium reported.
The academy and the agency are planning to put forward joint proposals on raising non-budget funds to finance scientific, scientific-technical and innovation activities.
They also plan to create a venture fund with the participation of the state, the state innovation and investment bank and the state financial institution of municipal development, scientific parks in accordance with legal strategic directions of innovation activities, implement innovations and raise investment in regions.
