In Kharkiv Museum of city’s liberation from fascist
invaders President Victor Yushchenko presented war veterans with state awards.
“When we
are speaking today about your heroism during the Second World War, in gaining
victory on our land, the subject for us is sacred. Those people, who went
through the ways of the Great Patriotic war and live among us today deserve our
outmost sincere gratitude and honor”, - said Victor Yushchenko, addressing
those present. He congratulated the veterans on Victory Day and wished them
sound health and longevity.
