President
Victor Yushchenko granted an interview for Hungarian National Television, which
is currently working on a documentary film about Holodomor 1932-1933.
Main
subjects, discussed during the interview were historical and political meaning
of the Great Famine, modifications to Ukrainian legislation recognizing the
tragedy a genocide against Ukrainians as well as Ukraine’s efforts aimed at revealing
truth about the events before international community.
The film is
expected to be on screen on Hungarian National Television at the end of May.
