President
Victor Yushchenko wrote a letter to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko drawing Government’s
attention to a number of problems regarding grain market.
“Errors in state
agrarian policy, insufficient protection of national producers from unfair competition
have led to increase of consumer prices”, - said Victor Yushchenko in his
letter. He also added that according to his belief increase of administrative interference
in market processes currently executed by the Government would not stop prices
growth because undoubtedly would damage competition and lead to monopolization
of regional markets.
The
information on the steps taken President expects to receive before September 1.
