President
Victor Yushchenko held today a meeting with co-chairmen of Interdepartmental working
group on fighting corruption: acting Head of the Security Service Valentyn
Nalyvaichenko and Prosecutor General Oleksandr Medvedko.
At the
meeting the officials reported to President on the work done since the meeting
on corruption counteraction of April 14 as well as presented him an action plan
on fighting corruption for 2008.
President
Yushchenko from his part named several priority directions in that field, which
require separate attention.
At the
meeting was also present deputy President’s Secretariat Chief of Staff Ihor
Pukshyn.
