No Ukrainians reported injured in Myanmar cyclone, says Foreign Ministry

According to Ukraine's Embassy in Thailand, a death toll of Cyclone Nagris, which came bearing down from the Bay of Bengal on May 2 and affected five provinces in the country, significantly increased during the last day.

Ukraine's Foreign Ministry informed that the cyclone had devastated roads, power, phone and internet lines, water supply, and 20,000 houses. Hundred thousands of people were left homeless and currently need urgent aid.

Ukraine's Embassy in Thailand continues monitoring the situation in Myanmar. The consular service department is overseeing the case.

It was earlier reported that around 4,000 were killed in the cyclone and around 3,000 were reported missing.
