Vice Prime Minister for European Integration Hryhoriy Nemyria stands for subordination of a National Agency for European Integration, to be shortly established, to the Cabinet of Ministers, but not to the President. This was disclosed by him at a briefing.
The Vice Prime Minister noted that "the agency will be set up and will work at high level just in the Government. The President is in charge of foreign policy and security, while European integration is an internal affair," he said.
According to him, the new agency will address a gap between political declarations and administrative aspect of Eurointegration.
