In January-April 2007 chemical industry in Ukraine boosted by 7.8% year-over-year, the State Committee of Statistics reported.
Production of plastic, nitrogen pesticides, ammonia, sulphuric acid and chemical fibers has boosted by 19.7% up to 165,000 tons, 11.2% up to 983,000 tons, 5.4% up to 1.862 M. tons, by 3.6% up to 521,000 tons and by 9.6% up to 12,400 tons, respectively.
