The new enhanced agreement between Ukraine and the EU should result in political association relations and economic integration, Deputy Foreign Minister Andriy Veselovskyi told the roundtable "The New Agreement between Ukraine and the EU: Mutual understanding in the Context of Pan-European Dialogue" at Ukrinform. The event was initiated by the Democracy and Development and European Foundation "Dialogue".
Andriy Veselovskyi reminded that the Ukraine-EU Plan, reached in 2005 and the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement, reached in 1994 are valid until 2007's close.
According to the Deputy Foreign Minister, Brussels has already hosted two rounds of talks on a new enhanced agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
Andriy Veselovskyi reminded about main goals of the enhanced agreement, notably creation of political frames to boost Ukraine-EU cooperation.
